Kate Chapin

Kate Chapin is both a filmmaker and photographer whose work has won awards as well as having been highlighted in several film festivals. Kate took 1st place at Personal Vision, a juried exhibition at Montana State University in the spring 2016. Sharp, a documentary she edited and produced was shown at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in Missoula, MT and her film Consexual premiered at the Bozeman International Film Festival in June of 2018. Her film work ranges from dramatic and experimental short films, to documentaries about rape culture that incite social change. Her photography ranges from documentary, to alternative processes, to stylized portraiture. Kate graduated from Montana State University with a double degree in both film and photography.
